Island Flat Top Post Caps made from 100% Redwood or 100% Western Red Cedar. Naturally weather, deterioration, and insect resistant. Wood is kiln dried prior to crafting to resist warping and cracking.
The measurement flat spot on the top exactly matches the actual post size. For example, if a 5-1/2" cap is ordered, the flat spot on top will measure 5-1/2".

All Nantucket Flat Post Caps can be used in conjunction with a finial top (sold separately).

How to choose the correct post cap size:
Nantucket Post Caps are sized according to the actual physical measurement of your post. All post caps are made 1/8" larger on the opening then the actual post size you specify. For example, if your 4x4 standard post truly measures 3-1/2" x 3-1/2", then you would choose that size and your cap would come with an inside measurement of 3-5/8" x 3-5/8".
